Instructions: This Choose Your Own Adventure multimedia assignment is the first of a two-part assignment (please see the complete instructions located in Canvas). For this first part of the assignment, imagine that you are a case worker who was just assigned a new case, a young child named Maxine. Your goal is to help support Maxine by making decisions that minimize her risk of experiencing maltreatment. To begin, you will first be given a brief background story for Maxine. For each following page, you will see a brief description of a level of the ecological model (e.g., microsystem, macrosystem) and a summary of either a risk or protective factor that corresponds with that level of the model. Then, you will be asked to select an appropriate intervention with the goal of minimizing Maxine's likelihood of experiencing maltreatment.

Note: There are not necessarily right or wrong interventions. The point is to just explore how the decisions you make impact Maxine.
