Both Maxine and Tony are confused about what is going on and sad that they can't be with their mom. To cheer them up, they all go to the YMCA to swim in the pool. As Maxine's grandfather gets out of the pool to have some water, he overhears some of the lifeguards speaking insensitively about people with disabilities and saying that people with disabilities shouldn't be allowed to swim in public pools because they disrupt everyone else that is swimming.

Maxine's grandfather is angry and heartbroken to hear people talking about his granddaughter like that. He turns to you for help. What would you recommend?

Invite Maxine's grandfather to join you and a team of other caseworkers to write a policy recommendation that makes disability training mandatory for all employees working directly with children.
