Maxine's father doesn't have time to care for Maxine and Tony because of his work schedule. He still wants to be helpful, so he takes them to a child care facility located in his office building. He hasn't used it before because he has heard other parents say they have had bad experiences there. As he picks up Maxine and Tony at the end of the day, he overhears some of the employees there speaking insensitively about people with disabilities and complaining that they are such a burden to take care of.

Maxine's father is angry and heartbroken to hear people talking about his daughter like that. He turns to you for help. What would you recommend?

Invite Maxine's father to join you and a team of other caseworkers to write a policy recommendation that makes disability training mandatory for all employees working directly with children.

File a complaint against the employees at the child care facility.
